The Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club held the ‘Team of Choice’ tournament on January 4 & 5 at their indoor facility.

Members from both the Parksville and Qualicum Beach clubs were on hand and participated in the tournament.

The first place team of Dave Perry, Ruby Bishop, Ryan and Frankie Stemler beat the team of Pat Reid, Gavin Reid and Drew Braid, who finished second.

Third place went to the team of Doug Ives, Peter Zboyovsky and Marian Lee. The fourth place team consisted of Pam Coward, Brian Michell and Charles MacIntyre.

The tournament is one of many events being held at the indoor facility over the winter months until the weather turns for the better for the outdoor pitch to have its turn to host the members of the club.
