MOTHER’S DAY RUN: It was all smiles as almost 300 people came out for the Oceanside Running Association’s Mother’s Day 10K walk/run in Parksville on Sunday. Royd Burkart of Port Alberni had the fastest time (36:01) with Nanaimo’s Jessica McKierahan leading the women (46:07).
