I'm Don Barbeau, and I've been fortunate to be a part of Black Press Media for nearly 30 years now. In recent times, I've been focused on projects like Today's Drive and other online initiatives within the Black Press network. My journey in the newspaper industry has a long history, tracing back to my early days in Winnipeg. Eventually, I found my way to the Abbotsford News, where I spent a significant portion of my career in the Lower Mainland.
A dream my family and I had was to make the move to Vancouver Island, and we managed to turn that dream into reality two years ago. The opportunity to embrace the Island lifestyle has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm excited to continue contributing to the world of media from this beautiful region.
