‘100 Oceanside Men Who Give a Damn’ donates $9,500 to hospice society

OHS provides services free of charge to palliative clients and their families

Oceanside Hospice Society is the latest beneficiary of the efforts of the 100 Oceanside Men Who Give a Damn group, which recently donated a cheque for $9,500.

Oceanside Hospice Society provides services free of charge to palliative clients and their families in the Parksville Qualicum Beach community.

“We are extremely grateful and appreciative of this donation and of all the wonderful support that this group provides in our community,” said Julie Chambers, executive director at Oceanside Hospice Society.

Members of 100 Oceanside Men Who Give A Damn generously donate $100 to a selected local charity voted on by the group. Barry Tuck nominated the Oceanside Hospice Society.
