With the holiday season over, Kwalikum Secondary students are once again ready to help residents get rid of their Christmas trees.
The cleanup event, which takes place on Jan. 5, is a fundraiser for Dry Grad 2019.
The students, along with volunteers from the KSS Dry Grad Committee and some members of Town of Qualicum Beach council, will be going door-to-door around town from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to collect Christmas trees and also empty bottles, cans and also monetary donations.
People are asked to leave their discarded trees, along with any bottles and donations at the end of their driveway before 9 a.m.
If you are unable to do that, trees can also be dropped off at the Town Public Works Yard located at the corner of Fern Road and Berwick Road East.
