McMillan Arts Centre in Parksville receives $2.5K donation from EPCOR

Donation provided through company’s Heart and Soul Fund

A utility company has given back to the arts community in Parksville.

On Nov. 19, EPCOR Utilities Inc. donated $2,500 to the McMillan Arts Centre as a way to offer financial assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are grateful for the important role the McMillan Arts Centre plays in the community with its dynamic offering of arts and cultural programs,” said Christian Madsen, EPCOR director, regional operations. “EPCOR’s Heart and Soul Fund was established to assist local organizations with the resources they need to continue making life brighter for all of us during these unprecedented times.”
