The Parksville Terry Fox Run is set for Sunday, Sept. 15, at Rathrevor Park.
Organizers is inviting participants to walk, run, and bike along the 3.5-kilometre, 5 km and 10 km routes starting at 10 a.m. The route is also accessible for people in wheelchairs and those who have kids in strollers. Participants can also bring their dogs but must be on a leash to the event.
Registration for the event is at 9 a.m. It is located at 1240 Rath Rd.
The run is in celebration of Terry Fox and in support of the actions he took in 1980 to raise money for cancer. All the money raised from the event goes to the Terry Fox Foundation.
