Remembrance Day Field of Crosses to be on display in Qualicum Beach

Crosses to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice

The Rotary Club of Qualicum Beach and The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 will again create a Remembrance Day Field of Crosses to honour veterans from First and Second World Wars.

Qualicum Beach council has granted permission to erect the display on the grassy area, kitty-corner from the Qualicum Beach Curling Club on Railway Street between the railway tracks.

For six days, people can stroll through the Field of Crosses that will be on display from Nov. 1 until Nov. 12. It serves as a memorial to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
