Qualicum Beach hires Vancouver company to redesign town’s website

Kimbo Design awarded $48,800 contract

The Town of Qualicum Beach is redesigning its website.

Council, at its regular meeting on Feb. 7, agreed to award the town’s website redesign contract to Kimbo Design in the amount of $48,800.

There was total of nine tenders the town received, though no design companies in Parksville Qualicum Beach that made any submissions.

Staff indicated most of the applicants were from the United States, though Kimbo Design is a Vancouver-based company.

Kimbo will be asked to replace and revamp the town’s current website to improve user experience, streamline content management through automation and enhance information delivery and customer service.
