Drivers in Qualicum Bay and Bowser can expect minor delays due to roadwork starting on Monday, Oct. 28.

Mainroad Mid-Island Contracting LP will be working on the approximately 5 km section of the Island Highway from Lions Way in Qualicum Bay to Sundry Road just outside Bowser.

The work will result in single-lane alternating traffic between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday Oct. 28 to Friday Nov. 1.

Mainroad asks that drivers slow down, watch out for roadside workers and obey all traffic signs and personnel.
