Morningstar Ladies wrap-up season

The Morningstar Ladies Club handed out the hardware to members who excelled this season.

At its final wrap up meeting at Morningstar Golf Club, the winners were congratulated. They are Club Champion (Low Gross) winner Josee Deslauriers, who is also the Most Improved Player; Carolyn Fleming, Club Champion (Low Net), who also had a Hole in One on No. 4; and Mary Higgins, first winner of the Wendy MacKenzie Cup Trophy, a season-long match play event. Although the membership of the ladies group was small in numbers this year, they were still able to enjoy the great conditions of Morningstar Golf Club and take part in all of the Zone 6 Solheim events as well as enjoyed Home & Home events with Qualicum Beach, Fairwinds, Cottonwood and Nanaimo.

They are now looking forward to another great season next year. All ladies are welcome to join the group every Tuesday morning.
