Pierlot bags Arrowsmith club crown

The Arrowsmith Ladies 18-hole Club Championship was held at Arrowsmith Golf and Country Club in Qualicum Beach on Aug 20-23. The tournament was divided into three flights based on individual handicaps. Winners were declared in each flight as well as overall winners in low gross and low net categories.

Colleen Pierlot was the overall low gross winner and club champion for the second year in a row with a total of 215. The winner of the overall low net was Jacqui Johnson with the total of 175. They will represent Arrowsmith in the Zone 6 Ladies’ Champion of Champions tournament in 2019.

Individual Flight Winners are as follows:

Flight 1: Gross – Shawne Munro (219); Net – Gail Vulliamy (178)

Flight 2: Gross – Vivian Field (245); Net – Diane Guerrier (189)

Flight 3: Gross – Marilyn Bush (244); Net – Chris Clemens (181)

The ladies club regularly scheduled golf season begins the last Thursday in March and ends the last Thursday of September. New members to the club are welcome.
